The leading partner is the Institute of Oncology of Vojvodina from Sremska Kamenica, Serbia, while the partner in the project is the Clinical Hospital Center of Osijek, Croatia.
On 1 April 2025 at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina in Sremska Kamenica, the first Educational Workshop entitled “Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Pathology” will be held as part of the DigiPath project. The speakers include distinguished guests from Portugal and Italy: Monica Curado, Laboratory Manager and Technical Coordinator at the Institute of Molecular Pathology and Immunology, Porto, Portugal; Dr Fillippo Fraggetta, Director of the Pathology Unit at Gravina e Santo Pietro Hospital, Caltagirone (CT), Sicily, Italy, and Prof. Dr Alessandro Caputo, Computational Pathologist at the University of Salerno, Campania, Italy.
The workshop will cover 14 diverse and current topics in digital pathology and the use of artificial intelligence in pathology, organised within four thematic sections. It is scheduled to commence at 08:00 and conclude at 16:20. The programme is attached.
